Infectious bovine keratoconjunctivitis (IBK) is the most important ocular disease of cattle. Prevention and control can prove challenging, list potential etiologic agents has expanded in recent years. Little been recently published characterizing IBK outbreaks at herd level. This case series investigation was conducted to describe characteristics management practices herds affected by 1 practice area West Virginia 2019. Seven producers were interviewed: 6 cowcalf stocker producer. Producers asked questions pertaining severity management, such as health protocols husbandry. In addition, organisms from each identified culture and/or PCR. Results revealed a range incidence well similarities differences among herds. The interpretability results limited due small sample size data collection method; however, suggest that some where producerswere interviewed experienced severe outbreaks, relevant similar between also further study identify poorly characterized risk factors warranted.
